You could do so much to carry the theme trought the night
invites, place cards, serviette rings
You could serve 7 courses or make the meal 7 dishes
You could even make a cake or cheesecake for dessert and cut it in the shape of 7

do you need help with finger food? i had a day last Friday where i had family & friends around & we did finger food it was a huge success, i was telling my hairdresser about it yesterday & she has just phoned me for ideas lol

kekka we did sliced red & green capsicum sliced mushrooms, sliced spanish onions & sliced zuchini i bought the packets of batter as a time saver

Yes kekka its in a 150g net pack its just called 'instant batter' ask at the supermarket if you can't find it we got it from Woolworths, i had'nt heard of it before my GF told me

Kekka, your "7" dinner party is a great idea, it sounds like so much fun. :jump: Hope you have a ball! :cheers:

PS: The only things I can think of right now are Brad Pitt's movie Seven (which isn't very partyish!) and a Moroccan dish called Couscous with 7 vegetables. I found it on the net (allrecipes maybe) some time ago and it was very good.

Yes Kekka there is.
1st layer lettuce
2nd cheese
3rd bacon bits
4th salad dressing
5th peas ( not can must be firm)
6th more cheese
7th lettuce

Taste very good. You can add a layer of celary instead of 2 layers of grated cheese. Sliced & chopped ham instead of Bacon Bits. You can change just about anything except the lettuce as long as you have 7 layers.
