We tried to go in today but there was sooo much traffic, we gave up at the top of the King Edward Park area - on Shepherd's Hill. We could see the top of the ship above Newie Hospital though! It's huge! It looks like it was dropped there by a UFO! It's weird. We'll try to get in there another day.

As long as there is no environmental damage.
Wouldn't want to be the ship's captain tho'....I heard that there were about 56 ships waiting to discharge or load and that they were warned to up anchor and move further out, two days before the storm hit.
All but 11 did....the Pasha Bulker one of them.

We went to visit it today..Jake was bored  have a few pics on my blog.

It really is an amazing sight, the pictures you see in the media don't do it justice...how big it is, and how close it is.

The weather was a bit nasty to take the drive up from Sydney on Saturday so I'm going to see how I go this weekend
It certainly sounds amazing

There is a live webcam on Nobbys beach, so you can watch the Pasha Bulker live. http://www.coastalwatch.com/camera/cameras_large.aspx?cam=2790&state=NSW
It will be interesting to watch it when they start the salvage operation, or in this super wild storm that is due to hit there tomorrow.
