Great time to get console games - EB Games store wide sale

Now girls, not that I expect that many of you will get excited about the thread title, now is the time to go get your fellas (and kids) some of those games at a very cheap price. Instead of just getting one for John for his birthday, I ended up getting two and spending the same amount of money (for the Wii). The XBox and Playstation games are even cheaper.

Stormy weather: you have a Wii??? Are they as hard to get over in Australia as they are here? My boyfriend got his only because his best friend worked at Toys R Us and was able to buy one before they were able to sell to the public. But now, everytime stores get a new shipment of them in the US, or atleast in Texas, they are sold out before the store opens. My boyfriend works at Circuit City and people camped out outside their store just this past week to buy them as soon as the store opened! Its crazy I think!

My 16yr old has an Xbox but he's been wanting to upgrade. However, I ain't paying for it as I don't see anything wrong with his Xbox :uhno:. I'll tell him about the sale and maybe he can laybye something....

There is usually a waiting list. :yes: We got ours from EB Games...had our name on a list to get one as soon as the new shipment came in but another person hadn't come to collect theirs after a week so we got it earlier than expected. :y: I don't think people are camping outside the stores here but they certainly are very popular because the department stores are always sold out. Even the games, as expensive as they are at full retail, sell very quickly. :yes:
