I read about this yesterday afternoon, but decided not to say anything about it.

This is really just awful. The baby was actually found not far from where I live. The other night on the way home from work I drove past there and saw all the police and reporters. I thought there had been an accident but when I saw the news I realised what had really happened.

Its so tragic isn't it. I'm afraid athough this time that I don't have any compassion for the mother in these circumstances at all, to just throw a newborn away like a piece of rubbish is just beyond words. Very Sad.

I don't feel any compassion for the mother either. I am waiting to hear more of the story though I guess we'll never know all the circumstances that could lead to a Mum being so callous. Poor little mite. Hope he wasn't alive when she dumped him.

Wasn't that just horrible? Can you imagine what the people felt when they found that little package? You wouldn't believe it would you? Thinking that it was doll or something, and as for the mum, wonder what she's going through right now? And what about the baby that the Pastor in Sydney found on his doorstep? Still with the umbilical cord attached! What is the world coming to? Are we getting that 'judgemental' or 'unapproachable' or something that these ladies/girls/women obviously in trouble are unable to come to someone, anyone and tell them what they are going through before it all gets out of control. What is happening to our society at the moment?

THat is so awful..what drives a person to do that?? when there are so many people that cant wait to adopt a baby if they cant give love there are so many that are just dying to give love..its so sad and i hope the mother finds mental help it seems to a growing social concern lately...
