Hi Ladies this kitten we have seems to be obsessed with jumping up at the wall where there may be a bit of paint peeling of and biting it off. Seems weird but we have a patch in the hallway that started of as a small chip of paint of and she has made it in to a 2" patch of missing paint.
We have tried squirting her with water we have put a table in front of that patch but you can see her looking around for more patches to get started on!! Also she tends to nip and bite as well any ideas? I think she may have been taken away from Mum to early she is now about 12 weeks old.

Perhaps it is now a habit...if you notice her looking at it, try distracting with a toy or better still a tissue, until she forgets...just vacuum the mess afterwards.
It might sound cruel...Lewis did the nipping/biting bit and all I did was pinch his ears (hard)....he soon realised that it would hurt and stopped.

She was a little too young to have left her mother, all kittens go through a biting stage, no matter when they left their mother. That is how they play with their litter mates, who's skin is tougher than ours. I don't mind a bit of play biting, but when they start biting hard, I just take my hands away stop playing and ignore them. They soon learn to play nice, or not at all.

As for the paint, keep persevering with the water bottle. Maybe try and cover up the flakes, if there aren't too many with tape or something. With my lot I usually find it's much easier and less stressful to remove the problem, rather than convince them they shouldn't be doing it :hehe:
