I just went out and bought myself Madonna's new CD and I'm quite impressed. I wouldn't have said that I'm a huge fan of hers, but for some reason I've always wanted this CD.

The songs on this one are very different to her past albums/cd's but she certainly is one talented woman. Not bad for a nearly 50 year old!!

Has anyone else bought this CD?

We have some Madonna but not the latest one (actually DH might have it on his iPod ... not sure) I quite like most of her stuff, esp now she doesn't do all that *other* stuff, lol.

I've just wrapped up an Ipod for Zac for Christmas. He has no idea he's getting it unlike most years when he usually guesses what I've got him. This year I've outsmarted him by putting some of his presents inside big gift boxes so he can't guess what they are, cause most of them are either DVD's, CD's or books.

you are such a cool mum! I bet he's over the moon with the iPod. One year my sister and I gave my grandparents tickets to see Phantom of the Opera and we wrapped them in a shoe box with a can of baked beans to weigh it down. Needless to say, they didn't pick it and they were thrilled.

I do tend to spoil Zac a bit at Christmas time but I don't buy him much during the year and he is my only child so I can spend more on him.

I might buy myself an Ipod too once I check his out. I catch the train to work each day and I see heaps of people using them so they must be alright.

I bet your grandparents were thrilled with their Phantom tickets. I just booked my tickets to see Dirty Dancing a few minutes ago and I can't wait to go now. Earlier this year I took mum to see Saturday Night Fever and I loved it, and I think Dirty Dancing will be fabulous.

I must admit I am a huge Madoona fan...hoping my sister is getting me the new CD for Xmas (as I have dropped heaps of hints)...I love the ABBA remix...it is a great song...

I like some of her old stuff as well...she was a little naughty, she is so different now, that she is older and married and has kids, but gee she has a pretty good figure for an old duck....:P

Saw Madonna on those music awards the other week and thought she looked fantastic especially since she was still recovering from that horse riding accident. Wish I could look that never mind when I'm 47 I'd like to look like that now.:jump: Never been a fan of Madonna though always thought she was a better business woman than singer or actor.;) Must admit though she has got better with age and I quite like her Abba remix song:D

Ive never been a fan of Madonna never ever ever. I used to think she was tacky and talentless and just used her sexuality to get where she is.

Well.

Then I heard Hung Up and I was hooked! What a fabulous song!! It must be Abba's 'Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)' remix through it though because I still dont think that her voice is all that.

But one of my Christmas presents was her new CD and I've listened to it a couple of times and I do really like it. The music more than her voice but the whole package is good. Will defo play it at a party. :clap:
