1 but 2  :y: :dance3: :D OMG we are getting 2 dog's
we are so excited & Heather i think it's even more exciting then Christmas :y: okay well we went to the RSPCA at 9.30am to look at a Silky as i thought we would be in a room away from other dog's so i did'nt have to see any others lol but Silky was out with other's & Hubby insisted i go & look at them all :headh: well honestly there were so many little darlings there but 2 in particular kept following us around their cage but not the Silky it was 2 scruffy looking girls :( one was 4 yrs old & i just said to hubby no i want a younger one so i could'nt look at the older one because i would have been confused poor hubby was very much in need of :comfort: but this other little 6 month old girl that had had her operation yesterday was crying for us oh god she was so scruffy she is some kind of a terrier with a fluffy face i said to hubby " thats my baby" so they let us take her into a room to see what we thought & at first she was shaking as i held her but after a few minutes she settled right down & snuggled into my umm chest :hehe: oh what a sweetheart so we said yes we want her so hubby goes out to pay for her & one of the carers came over & said did anyone tell you that we always do a yard check i said no they did'nt tell us but that's fine our yard is very secure & then she tell's me that we can't take our new baby home untill the yard check is aproved ;( i felt my chin hit the floor but they let me sit with her another half hour before they took her
so they said the check would be done thisafternoon but we had to go to Newcastle & would not be home they said thats ok he will still do it & leave a card in our letterbox :brow: no card there when we got home tonight :comfor
so i am going to phone first thing in the morning to be sure we can get her earl;y tomorrow  & then!!!!!!!!!! i don't know if you remember me saying a few weeks ago that we could have a 4 yr old Cavalier in 3 months when she delivers her puppy's well tonight when we got home i had a message on the phone from the lady to say "Margot" lost her pupp'y & so we can have her next week :y: OMG i thought Hubby would say no because of the cost to keep 2 dogs you know vets over the yrs etc but ;) he told me we are going to have Margot 2 Di :D OMG what a day we get the Cavalier a week tomorrow she is an outdoor dog but only untill the day we pick her up lol & ofcourse the 6 month old will be indoors as well  Honestly i am so excited & hubby is to so i think the pup will be named Baby & the Cavalier will ofcourse keep her name of Margot  so there you go girls i am now off to get some Dinner i will have pics tomorrow i hope :waves:

Wonderful news...will you bring them on Sunday?

That's great Mad Old Cow. Poor little Silky missed out though. It's sad that Margot lost her pup. Baby must have found your chest somewhat comfortable!!
Enjoy your little darlings. Yes - bring them Sunday if they'll travel. Though could be too early to tell at this stage.

Thanks everyone we are still smiling
no I wont be taking them on Sunday oh i will only have Baby Sunday because Margot does'nt come untill next week but we may have to bring her but if we do hubby will keep her with him where ever he is going
but i hope the yard check was done today & we can get her tomorrow i keep thinking of her being there cold although they all had blankets & some were the ones hubby took down there last week OMG is'nt it just fantastic & I'm so glad hubby loves dogs to so we could still have Margot
Kekka i know Silky missed out but i think someone will pick him soon & as i said he really was'nt that interested in us he seemed a little bit hypo lol mind you they all get like that when they see human's & the girl there said they really only get about 10 mins human company a day because they are so busy there
but i did what H said & that was to focus on the one that took my eye & just think that i can help this one & thats what i did & then we get home & we are going to be helping 2 anyway lol

It's sad there are so many dogs that need a home, but I'm sure someone will take them.
Di, from what you've said on here, you've got ample boobs, well it's no wonder the little pup snuggled in.

Wonderful news, so glad that Baby is settling in.
So will you be bringing her on Sunday? We want to meet her and Klaus. O.K?
:)
Mad Old Cow
29-06-2007, 01:38 PM
well not sure about her comming Sunday as Klaus will have to find something for them both to do instead of just him but we are concerned about leavingher
'home alone' but then i don't want her running our lives like our last 2 dogs did for 17 yrs lol
