Kennell cough is a pain but no major drama to get rid of. Shame it holds up your next child's arrival.

It must sound frightening coming out of such a cutie!

What a little minx trying to get into your bed!! You are being so strong MOC!! :hehe: :dogr:

Did you get her from the RSPCA....if you take her back there, it won't cost you anything....it's just so contagious....you can't take any risks.

I hope to that she is better soon
are you sure she's not putting it on , so you have to put off getting Margo , she may just want all the attention for herself ;)

yes H we got her from RSPCA & we took her back there the vet was a lady & she said she had thought of keeping her because she had her there with kennel cough & ofcourse desexing & she was so pleased she has gone to us think she could see how crazy we are with her . she explained KC to us & said yes it is highly contagious & that it had cleared but as she had desexing monday & adopted the next day the stress of everything has just bumped it up again she said it's nothing serious & she will check her again next wed before we get Margo just to be sure, but she had coughed yesterday when we got visitors & thismorning when her & i got out of bed ( no she was in her bed ) so the vet said excitement would have got going to. the vet wasa lovely she was hugging baby & everything .
Old Di I hav'nt told her about WEE Margo yet i thought i would just let it happen i actually think she will like Margo because she really loves company.
i told the vet to how good she is with her jacket on & she said she had a coat on when she was staying at the vets to so thats why shes so good.

I got my boy Diesel from the Lost Dogs Home, and he had just a touch of kennel cough, I was told to give him a drop of Benadryl (from the chemist) a couple of times a day, did that for a day and it cleared up. My other dog Beau coughed a couple of times a few mornings later, did the same and havent had any problems since.
My sister is a dog obedience trainer, she told me she's recommended this to lots of people who've come to the club and its worked well for everyone.
