We had a great Christmas - last year Hugo was just tiny so it wasn't really any different then for him but this year he was so into opening presents, and the food (I shudder to think how much sugar he has consumed in the past three days!)

Hugo got some great presents (and best of all, no big colourful plastic awful toys we'd need to find space for). His favourites include the little fold out kiddies couch (you know the one I mean!) - from my SIL. We tried to find one for him that wasn't covered in Thomas the Tank Engine or another character but couldn't get one ... she found a cute red one, I love it! So does Hugo :D So do the cats! :jump: He's also a fan of the little Elmo bath toy my sister gave him, he's barely put it down since he opened it. Wouldn't get out of the bath today either, he was so enthralled, lol.

So it was good for us, nice food, lovely company, not too stressful. A quiet moment to remember my nana, who passed away in September, but they were happy thoughts of the Christmases of my childhood spent at her place.

How was your Christmas?

Nice to hear you had a lovely day with family...

I had a fight with my ex on Christmas Eve, between him and me and his new women...

Then Xmas night I had a fight with my sister...so yep all round bloody terrible...

Spent today feeling lousy and so low...went to the shops and had a look at cameras but not in the mood to buy...cried so much my eyes are permantly red and all puffy.

I am really looking forward to going back to work on Wednesday...

You try so hard and it gets you know where...not going to bother next year...sick of being walked on like a doormat.

Naomi, glad you had a lovely Christmas. I love seeing the little one's getting all excited about Christmas and with Hugo realising this year what it's all about, next year he will be even more excited :D

Alexa, I'm sorry that your Christmas didn't work out the way you hoped. Before the year is out, write down all the wonderful and special moments you had throughout the year so that you end the year on a positive note. Then step into the new year visualising a wonderful, stress free, happy year :D

Our Christmas was lovely. We held an "Orphan's Christmas" with friends who we've met since moving to Hong Kong. There was 9 of us for Christmas Lunch and by the time the last guests left at 7:15pm I was exhausted from too much good food and good champagne/wine. I snuck up stairs under the priviso that I was changing into my PJ's and instead hopped into bed for a nana's nap. My darling husband did a pretty good job of cleaning up as much as he could (to the point the dishwasher was full).

It was a lovely day :D
