We are very quiet tonight. The boys are already sleeping. ( my son and hubby). They are both snoring. I'm the only awake. We are invited to a huge birthday party tomorrow during the day.

We've been out for dinner - lovely MIL stayed with Hugo for us then we got home around 11.30pm, shared some champers at midnight to welcome 2006 and will be heading to bed shortly - lovely!

Went to the city last night (over 1 million people) it was a wonderful night for a picnic, people were very well behaved and the fireworks were just beautiful...great to spend time with my friends from London, they keep commenting on the weather (it is -8) over there...we had a great night, got home about 4am...very tired today, but only a small glass of bubbles to celebrate the new year (best part has been not hearing from the ex) YAHOO.

Just relaxing with books, the paper and some nice food...got to go to work tonight...

Happy New Year everyone! I was invited to a party but because I was still regaining my strength I did the sensible thing and stayed home:( So hard because I was feeling quite a bit better. Bad glad I did the sensible thing because now I have finally started to get some housework and spring cleaning done. ! week to go I've soooooo much to do.

At least the weather is cooler today, we reached more than 45 here yesterday. Tried putting a fan on but it made it worse, just spinning hot air around. I love summer, but fair dinkum, we are not on the equator:Hehe:
