But true, Margot still has'nt really eaten more then & half a cup of food in 8 days so tonight we put this meat roll stuff out in her bowl & sat her outside so Maggie did'nt put her off her food she sat our there almost an hour Hubby went & sat out there to have a smoke & Margot went up to him for a pat he came in & told me that he was patting her & telling her if she does'nt start to eat she will get really sick & so she just has to start to eat soon & he said next thing she walked over to her bowl & ate all her Tea he was so happy lol hubby has been really worried about her not eating so have i but i thought she would eat when ready although i was starting to think a week was a long time so hubby is happy & no doubt that means Margot is happy to, let's hope she eats tomorrow now lol

That's great that Margot has eaten, a week is a long time to not have something to eat. Klaus must be very good with her so she felt comfortable about eating with him standing guard.
Thats interesting Di I hope she starts eating properly soon.
I wonder if her previous home had any routine that she was used to before eating? And she is having trouble adjusting to a different pattern?

Yay Klaus  finally she is eating, hope she keeps it up

Jen i don't know all i know is there was 10 dogs where she lived before because the women was a breeder but there would have been lot's of puppies around too i know the lady did tell me that Margot was pitifully slow at eating she said she takes forever which seems strange when she would have had so many other dogs wanting her food unless she fed them seperatly which is hard to believe to
she had half of her brekky this am but in the end i just let Maggie at the left overs i thought oh buggar it lol she was out there with it for over 30 mins
i will pho the lady up today to see if she did feed her seperatly, i think the shyness of her is just the Cavalier King Charles trait this is the 5th one we have had & Duchess was the only one that never grew up lol but Margot is like the very first one we ever had 'Princess' she was my baby after my DD left home & she was like Margot except for the eating she did love her food lol
Let us know what she says Di. But as you said if she grew up with other dogs she would be a good eater in case she missed out?
