What do you use to treat it?
Aaron, my three year old nephew just came for a visit. He suffers from exczema behind his knees and in the elbow joints.
Not having exczema myself I've got no suggestions.

With my 3 year old, we usually put Nutrimetics nutri-rich oil on, or Aromababy Barrier Balm. We also only bath him every 2nd night (unless he REALLY needs one) and then with no soaps, just water. Occasionally he gets a bubble bath as a treat, but then is smothered in baby oil LMAO
I also sqirt a bit of baby oil into the bath occasionally - especially when he has very dry skin.

My son (he's 23) recently spent a week in hospital because his exczema was so severe :( Cracked and bleeding all over!
He is to use Skin Basics Aqueons Cream instead of soap. He uses Paraffin cream all over his body. These product can be bought over the counter at the chemist, so might be worth a try.
Lee uses Sigmacort 1% on his face. He still has a bit of exczema, but not anything like he had before. He has done a lot of allergy tests and he is allergic to just about every grass seed there is :(
Fingers crossed your little ones will out grow it!

My son Callum who is almost 14 has had eczema since he was 10 weeks old. Callum suffers severely with the rash all over his body, usually his beautiful face is spared. It is terrible to have had to watch him suffering all these years with very little relief. I have tried everything and anything (that I thought safe) that anybody has suggested to me with very little improvement. Earlier this year Callum was hospitalised once again and started on a regime of drugs to try and get things under control. Steroids and a drug used to stop rejection in organ transplant patients (they supress the immune system) have given some improvement. I know this seems to be a radical treatment but I figure after almost 14 years of suffering we have to do something about Callum's quality of life. Does anyone else have any ideas?
Thanks,
Patricia :)
