Xmas Cards - how do you dispose of them.

With the festive season over, what do you all do with your xmas cards.

I've got a couple of 3D ones and handmade ones that are special to me so I keep them. With the rest of them I will recycle.

Planet Ark has a recycle scheme. Can be done in two ways - take all your unwanted xmas cards to Coles supermarket and there are special bin in the front of the checkout area. Or you can go to Aust Post and ask for a Planet Ark recyle envelope. Stick all your cards in there, seal and post off. It's a free service.

I figure every little bit helps.:)

We divide our cards into three. We usually keep the cards that are special to us.

We then go through the rest & see what can be cut out (for the boys to make cards with) & the rest go to recycling.

I haven't done this yet (they are in a pile at the moment) but will be heading to the post office in the next couple of days so I will keep an eye out for the Planet Ark envelope.

I keep anything that is special, everthing else goes
into the Planet Arc envelope. You can also put your envelopes in as well.

Mostly they are cut & used for gift tags next Christmas! Or for the boys for pasting.
