When my daughter moved in, her ex was supposed to have her cat Fluffy but he changed his mind, Fluffy is a neutered male cat fantastic with people, the most lovable cat going, unfortunately he can not be within spitting distance of any other animals and I have my beautiful Bessie who is the gentlest cat going, the first time he saw my Bess he tried to kill her and if he goes outside the same with anything cat or dog that crosses his path, with the result that he is in most of the time which means she is outside and I have to sneak her in and hide her in other room before Fluffy sees her.You can not talk to d.d.as it is her d.s,s pet and my d.h. is bent out of shape cause he is not fond of cats any way:uhno:

Oh dear, you are in a pickle....have you spoken to the vet about this...there may be some medicine that will calm Fluffy down a bit or maybe a training program.

I don't know what to say, maybe go to the vet like what Heather said. It's a shame the 2 can't get along. Can you separate them in the house so they both can be inside?

Thanks for the suggestions ladies, Fluffy is a beautiful cat he was savaged by a dog when he was only young, and he has that get them before they get me attitude, he is fantastic with people but that does not help my poor little Bess much.
