We have a cat Jess she is 6 year old a very nervous cat. She sleeps under the BBQ cover all day and comes in at night to eat.
Anyway she didnt come in on Monday night and we hadnt seen her since. I rang the RSPCA this morning and they said they had a cat out there that someone had taken out there and put in the holdong cage on Monday night.
Nicole and I went out and it was Jess:y: I would love to know her story?
Anyway the RSPCA lady said that she was the next one that morning to get euthanised because she wouldnt be able to be relocated in to a home because of her nature!!!
How lucky was that for us and Jess!
It cost $70 to bring her home! I am not worried about the money but she better not get the wanders again it just seems weird because she hangs around home?

Maybe keep her indoors all the time now....is that possible?
A very lucky cat for sure....give her a cuddle for me.

might be good to microchip her then if she does wander they know who she belongs to

Yes it really was fate that it happened! The RSPCA gave me a tag to hang on her collar but we are going to have to get a microchip.
She doesnt usually wander I have a feeling a someone in the neighbourhood may have taken her out? Maybe she peed in the garden or something:uhno: ?

You may be right to Jen because it's weird that she never wanders & then ends up at the RSPCA

Poor Jess it's not a nice feeling to know you are next on the list. Glad to hear that she is well and home safe. Has she been desexed as they will go looking for a tom when they come into season. I have a cat but she never leaves the house, she doesn't know what it would be like to be outside.

Bloody hell Jen :O that was VERY lucky

I'd definitely get a microchip done if she is going to be outside. I'm glad she is home again :fx: she doesn't wander again.

Yep she used her 9 lives in one day! She is desexed we have a pet door so the dogs can go out and pee,so she can get out.
Bundy (cat) sleeps on my bed at night Jess is nearly 7 years old so I dont think we will be able to change her ways. She is a really nervous cat last night spent all night inside she was really purry I think she is feeling very thankful at the moment!:hehe:

Yeh Di when Nicole and I went out to see if it was her we werent sure at first she was really puffed up with fright and her eyes were big and yellow. It wasnt until Nicole started to pat her we knew it was her.It bought a tear to our eyes. She was so scared and to think she had been in a holding pen near the RSPCA front gate for a night! She would have been terrified!

Lucky Jess alright!! :O So many times I wonder with Rosie and her good nature if something similar happened to her. I just can't imagine anyone voluntarily giving her up because she's such a sweetie (despite the 4am wakeup prods) and she was in too good a state of health to be abandoned by her mother as a kitten. :dk:

No matter, she's my baby girl now and I'm not giving her up for anyone. :D

Mum was telling me she saw a thing on tele called Kitty Cam and you attach it to the cats collar so you can see what they are up to!
I am not telling my daughter she will want to get oneLMAO

Hey Jen where do I get one??? No honestly, I want to know whether Mojo scratches the lounge when we're away or whether it's just something he does to get our attention. LMAO

Knowing my luck it would cost a fortune and he'd ditch it within 30 seconds and it would just film the same spot where he left it. :P
