I know that there are a lot of animal lovers that frequent the site. Does your little treasure (or treasurers) do anything that annoys the crap out of you?
My cats live outdoors. Whenever I arrive home they like to go through the house with me - straight to the back door. This is ok. If I get distracted, say for 30 seconds, 2 of them are up on the bench licking at my block of butter. x( What a waste...yes, I should put the butter in the pantry or fridge!
Little rascals!! :meow: :s:

Yes, please see the "why do cats" thread for your answer :P
Wednesday night we were almost asleep after I had gotten home at nearly midnight. Not a sound in the house not even a mouse. Then we heard the "gokk gokk gokk" and think wtf both the cats are on the bed. Then comes the dawning realisation that OMG one of the cats is going to yak on the bed! John had a well aimed shove with his foot and me with mine and we got the offender off the bed just in time for him to go "splurk" on the carpet. Hey better on the carpet than on my day old bed linen!! So up we get at midnight, clean up the cat yak, burp him (on the tiles) for good measure and then try to go back to sleep. :hehe: So yak free days are currently back down to two days and we were doing so well at that stage.
Rosie also has an uncanny knack of knowing what days I work an early shift. I think she has associated it with seeing me lay out my uniform the night before on the back of the bathroom door. God bless her furry little socks but she unfailingly wakes me exactly an hour before my alarm is due to go off by prodding me in the side, neck or legs. Not that I mind being woken up by her because it's more pleasant than the BLARP BLARP BLARP of the alarm clock but sheesh, I don't know how to adjust the time on her. :hehe: She never does it any other morning, only when she sees the uniform come out the night before. She's a good girl though, just doesn't want me to sleep in. :D
So yes, my treasures do annoy me sometimes. :P

My Lewis loves Gold or Diamond earrings ....instantly up on the shoulder (which hurts as he is so bloody heavy) and he starts trying to eat them.
Rosie constantly needs to be cuddled if you sit down....she feels it is her due, I'm sure.

My babies could never do anything to annoy me, but I must admit that I have found that other things seem to be annoying me more and more LATELY!

Getting back to the question, my pets don't do anything to annoy me.

I suppose that you burp a cat like a baby.....just a little more dangerous!! :)
I assume that Stormy does so to avoid an "encore performance" from the sweet muffin.

YES!! My darling cocker spaniel Chester is just a little over a year old and the vet says he will grow out of this but it completely ticks me off, it's so annoying!!
When ever he gets extremely excited (like when someone gets home or someone new comes to visit) or when he gets scared (like when we have to put him in his kennel or he is doing something wrong and we yell at him) he then PEES on the floor or whatever else is around! He also even has peed on me a couple of times when jumping up on me when I come home, mostly when we first got him but still!!

Barbar it's a little different than burping a baby....if you sling them over your shoulder not only do you get vomit down your back but the claws are too close to your head and you risk getting blinded. :P
I just hold his chest with part of my hand under each forearm and then give his back a bit of a push. It seems to clear any remaining cat yak out so that we don't settle back down to hear "gok gok gok" five minutes later. :D
I've found with Mojo, there is always just that little bit more to come unfortunately. :hehe:
