Yes lets hope he plays up your way Jen.
I hope to see him when he comes to Sydney. Last time I saw him was when he and Billy Joel played in Perth, what a brilliant concert that was.
He is also the one behind the music for Billy Elliott that is being turned into a stage show, now that I will definately see.

I would have liked to go see him but he's not coming to Brisbane (which I couldn't believe :O) and decent tickets to see him in Sydney are ridiculously priced. :(

All this made me get out an old....very old....tape of his songs....mostly his early ones....my heavens he is such a poet, listening to " The Greatest Discovery" made me so tearful...it's so beautiful.
Look at the lyrics (http://www.eltonography.com/songs/the_greatest_discovery.html).....you don't need music.
That is beautiful Heather thanks for that!

Sydney prices are from $400 for gold tickets. They go up in price depending on where in the gold section you're sitting. Silver tickets are already sold out.
Wow thats expensive the good thing about the concert up here the Dairy Farmers Stadium only holds 20,000 and they said after they set the stage up there will only be no more then 12,000 seats so we wont be to far away from him!
I went and saw Elton and Billy Joel a few years ago at ANZ stadium in Brissy and we were miles away from the stage we used binos to watch them on the video screen!
