just wondering if any of you girls have a dog with a smelly lip or you may say mouth or chin. Margot has, it;s her lip on the outside where she has a crease on her lip that holds moisture & gets smelly our Princess had the same problem years ago i asked the vet he just said it was the dribble etc that hold in the crease & to put peroxide on a cotton ball & wipe it a couple times a day it really does help, our Duchess did'nt have it . the peroxide does'nt sting or anything so just thought i would pass that little bit of info on lol i thought Texas Girl's spaniels may get it i think it's more the dogs with the droopy mouth lol :waves:

What a good idea....I would have used metho and water mix....but that still stings a little .
I always have peroxide here (I use it to clean jewellery) and there are occasions when you need something like that for your Babies....droopy mouth or no.

My daughters cat Fluffy gets a dirty chin all the time, it gets that bad if you you forget to wash it he gets a rash, it is very unusual as he is a very clean cat he just misses his chin when he cleans, and he is such a pig when he eats.
