I haven't gotten into reading for so long..amazing how much easier it is with new eyes :hehe:

Just finished Helter Skelter and it was a great read. I'm not really into fiction, much prefer true life especially crime.

What is your favourite True crime book?

Not my 'favourite', but an interesting read, "Joe Cinque's Consolation" by Helen Garner. I actually had a look for my copy for you, knowing you like the genre but I can't find it (may have got lost in the move :dk:).

Glad the eye transplant went well :hehe:

Oh my darling if you like true crime you are asking the true crime lover of all time here. I love em and sometimes my beloved thinks I'm a bit wierd that I'm always reading about some killer or other:brow: .
Anyhoo here's some of my top picks for reads that you won't wanna put down.
1. Killing for Pleasure by Debi Marshall.
It's the definitive story of the snowtown murders, with lots of background info on the killers lives and loves and just how they killed and got away with it for so long. Truly amazing and scary.

2. Fred and Rose by Howard Sounes.
The full story of Fred and Rose West and their house of horrors in Gloucester. this book was so unbelieveably unsettling at times that I had to give myself a little break and go back to it.

3. Where's Peter (can't remember the Author sorry)
An amazing account of the Peter Falconio case from the time that Peter Falconio went missing and Joanne leas was found untill the case ended. I was amazed how it all was investigated and just what a strange life the killer led.

4. Things a Killer Would Know by Paula Soneman.
The true story of Leonard Fraser. He's the guy that they put on trial for Natasha Ryans murder only to have her turn up halfway through the trial. He also murdered many other women and one child and is deemed a remorseless killer and never to be released. It was a great read and a bit freaky too.

I brought most of em at Big W cause books are pretty cheap there but they are all available at any big book store so you should have no worries getting any of em.
GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY THE READ.:D
