it was on the front page of the herald sun newspaper yesterday morning. it must have been a really slow news day.
the article indicated it was costly to produce, the numbers of viewers was decreasing etc it also indicated that seven may have needed to fund the winning bid for afl footy...
no more blue shielas. "no more 'or right boss, but."
;( Oh no! How could they do that to those of us who love the show!
Time to protest! :hmmf:

What?! They are axing Blue Heelers?! How crook is that?! I've been watching Blue Heelers since it started! Don't you hate it when they do that?x( Some of the recent storylines were getting a bit frustrating though. Ever since the Reverend died, Tom has been acting weird. And I wish PJ and some of the old characters were were still in it! Still want it to come back on though! From Contiki.

I stopped watching after the first couple of seasons...
I'd heard rumours last year it was going to happen, so I wasn't surprised. I was more surprised it made the front page of the Herald Sun :Hehe:

Have to agree with Mel, it was a great show that I think maybe needs to be put to bed...I loved PJ though, he does have sex appeal...
I wonder what else will go, I love Last Man Standing but a crappy time slot, also Ten has cancelled The Surgeon...too many American shows to watch I guess, I wonder when the next season of 24 will be on...
Cheaper for the networks to import shows than to make there own...that is why Desperate Housewives, Lost, ER, Friends, Seinfield, Everyone Loves Raymond, CSI, etc, all these get shown (and loads of repeats) cause they know that people will watch them...it would be good thought if they showed more of Sex and the City repeats as I have only ever watched the odd episode here and there...
Well I am the minority here & say TG Blue Heelers has gone. I mean come on I live in a small rural town & we have no where near the crime they do *groan* It has more bloody crime & criminals than any capital city!! I really do think it had ran its course. I stopped watching yrs ago & only watched the odd show when the shows on the other channels were even worse

Oh please don't say that about Home and Away :jump: :jump: I've watched that forever wouldn't no what to do without it:jump: :jump: Actually seriously I really do love that show would hate to think they would take that off the air. I read also that they needed to get rid of Heelers because of the new deal with the AFL although that has been denied by seven. We'll still be able to watch the last season this year though so not cut off completely just yet.

I don't want it to be axed
I've only started watching it the last couple of years and really enjoy it.
Makes me wish I hadn't missed the previous years of the show.
