Has anyone ever used these (http://www.modalingerie.com.au/catalogue/category35/product96)??? I need to find an alternative to a U bra (they don't make them big enough) to wear under the top I bought from Ebay recently. It is lower cut than I thought it was and the rest of my bras sit far too high up to wear them underneath. And I refuse to go braless because I don't think it's a good look. :P

They go up to a DD cup but I'm just unsure of how well they err...perform. Considering the wedding will be when it is a little warmer, I am a little concerned they would fall off halfway through the day. Although I do suppose I could whack a spare pair or two in the bag I'm taking?? :dk:

no kay i have never seen them & they don'y have G size lol, i really don't think i would trust them with bigger bbobs, why don't you go to a good bra shop & take your top with you even Myer they have a great range & ask for help so your not there all day looking for what you want

Yeah I know they say they are absolutely reliable but I wonder if the person who wrote that advert had a DD bust? :hehe: I've put the top in the washing machine today on a handwash cycle so tomorrow I might go into Myers down at Pac Fair and see what they say. The other alternative is to have the top altered slightly at the neckline so that it sits higher and then I could just wear a normal bra. :dk:

I figure I would try the bra route first and then failing that get it altered.

Nooooooooooo!! Don't get them! Especially if you are going to be in warmer weather. They stick to your skin very good, so you wouldn't have to worry about them falling off. However, they stick so good that its like ripping your skin off to get them to come off. My friend and I both did it for homecoming one year and it was horrible and hurt so bad. They even rubbed a rash or raw spot underneath our breasts. I think if what you are trying to really cover up is just the nipple then check out something like these:

http://www.fredericks.com/product/bras/shop+by+bra+style/solutions/silicone+breast+petals.do

Because those are much more comfortable and don't rip your breast off when you try and take them off.

-By the way, I just spent 15 minutes googling this because I couldn't remember what they were called to show you! haha

Oh no, I'm not worried about my nipples in the slightest. :hehe: The reason why I refuse to go braless isn't because I'd be an instant indicator of how chilly it is, but more because I need the support of a bra to keep my boobs "up where they belong". LMAO

Edited to say - but thanks for letting me know how strong the adhesive is....I'm definitely not into ripping my skin off in the name of fashion. :D

I was once in stitches when a Teacher was telling me the problems she had with those stick-on bras....she said she felt like a 1940's woman...all pointy.

always wondered whether these things worked, have to admit im skeptical too, theres always a danger when straps are left out of the equation and if you're questioning support with a stick on bra the physics just doesnt add up

Hi Stormy Weather,

I rec'd a free sample - C cup "self adhesive crescents" for strapless, backless, invisible support. The pack says there are 3 pairs inside. I've had them for a good few years...they would be a little small for me and, as such, I have no use for them.

If size is appropriate PM me and I'm happy to put in the post. If you don't wish to give out your home address I can send them for collection to your nearest post office.

Declining offer won't offend in the slightest.

Oh well they didn't really hold up squat either. They did just a little but not nearly anything like a bra. We might as well have went without both.

Oh and I don't have a small chest either so I don't know if you do it might be better for you then me.

i tried that before and actually, i found that it was pretty comfortable. but i'm a B cup, so i guess that explains it! LMAO. i even tried the nipple ones too that TG had for prom one year. i had a white dress & couldn't wear a bra, so i had to do that, otherwise you'd see through it! they both worked fine for me. and it didn't rip my skin off either. i also have a sticky bra that's reusable. it has the cups with a white clear band holding the cups together. it's permanently sticky. (got it about 5 years ago & it still is sticky!) so all you do is just stick it on and it actually stays there. came in handy when wearing halter tops and such. i even used it for one of my proms and didn't feel as if it was falling off. i had to give it to my SIL for her wedding, so i never saw it again!

I've come to the conclusion that unless you have perky smallish boobs, then neither solution is going to work too well. LMAO

Kekka I wear a DD/E cup so the C cups would not be suitable for me but thank you for the offer. :)

I guess if I want my boobs to be up where they normally are I'm just going to have to find a bra that goes under the top without showing or get the neckline altered. I hate weddings now. LMAO

I would like to see my 58 year old boobs in a pair of stick on bras, the mind boggles, but I digress, my d.d. tried them and was not impressed she has a nice size bust and did not like them, I think they sound better in theory.

Di, I just took the top down to Myers at Pac Fair and went up to the nearest older lady in the bra section and explained what I was after. She had me a suitable bra in minutes and knew exactly what I was after. It has moulded cups but is low cut and the front of it sits lower. If anything the top fits better wearing it because my boobs look even bigger! :O

After a lot of discussion with the bra lady, she said I will still have to get the neckline altered a little (it was gaping at the back) but at least it won't be as big a job to do now. I found an alteration place in Garden City and will head up there a little later on in the morning. Going to take those wrong-sized pants and get them taken in while I'm at it. :D
