it's on the Lifestyle channel. Couples that decide they want to go into property development and it follows their story. Some do a really great job and actually make money out of the project. But a lot of totally hopeless, overspend on their budget, made bad decisions in house design etc etc. I quite enjoy the show

When my Puter went down, I watched that show everyday and really enjoy it.

How small are the houses over there (UK)! Bathrooms downstairs with the bedroom upstairs? That would drive me insane. They are all so pokey and their backyards at all tiny court yards. Have you noticed they don't have a laundry? They put a washing machine in the kitchen!

Running up and down stairs to the bathroom would be great if you are trying to lose weight, but not if you had a weak bladder, or worse, IYKWIM :O

Adam says most houses in the Uk don't have laundries. It is apparently quite usual to have a washer/dryer in the kitchen. I would hate that!

I remember when we lived in England, dad moved the washing machine into the bathroom which wasn't too bad. Our bathroom though was in the basement so you had to go down two flights of stairs to get to it.

Some of the houses that are getting built now have no laundry. My sister has been in her house now for about 6 months and her washing machine, trough & dryer are all in a linen closet.
