what do we all think of the first episode of the season 2 of LOST?.
Man I was so enthralleld I seriously couldn't move and every time my partner said anything I sushed him (and believe me he wasn't happy, cause he thinks the show is a crock of s*#t).:Hehe:
I would love to know how the writers keep coming up with all these twists and turns and I think the the character Locke is really such a cutie (always loved bald men, that's why I'm with my partner now).
Anyway, WHAT DID YOU ALL THINK????

I was exactly the same. Everytime Zac even looked like talking I shushed him, cause I didn't want to miss a bit of it. The ads drive me nuts though. I think it's crazy how many ads they show in a one hour show. Why can't they show ads at the beginning and at the end and just let us watch the shows in peace.

I never watched last season on tv and instead we got out all the DVD's and watched them in about 3-4 days and it was great not having to watch any ads.

My only other complaint about last night's episode is that I didn't get to see Sawyer....that man is hot!!!

OMG were we in the same house !!!! My partner was exactly the same, last year he taped it for me every Thursday night (Netball Training) he wasn't happy about that so I bought out the black mail :Hehe:

Absolutely LOVED it, watched it and taped it too :jump: just incase I had to leave the TV. Wish it was on more than 1 night a week.

Love the character Jack 'Hotty' and Sawyer 'yumYum' Hope they don't leave the show.

Our new season starts next Wednesday!! We had a 2hr special on this Wednesday gone though, with a recap of last season and a special about the Island itself. I was sooooo happy to know the season is starting again!!! Woohoo!!!

I am going to get the entire first season on DVD too!! It's really an amazing series!

a couple of close friends of mine have beren down loading the lastes episodes from the net, once they were shown in the US. it just about killed me knowing that they knew what was going on already...

we sent matthew ( my 6 year newphew) off to my mums for the night so we could have some piece and quiet,( yes theoretically he would be asleep, but you never know) and ease our way into lost with glass of wine.

now thats sad.

UUuummm we are guilty of downloading them the moment they are available. Usually the day after they air in the States. We have watched 12 episodes of season 2 and all i can say is "WOW"!!!
Keep watching if you like surprises and twists and turns because there are so many more to come. I recommend taping whenever possible because in some of them you really don't want to miss anything.... :D

The ads drove me crazy as well..two minutes into Lost we went to ads. And yes, I agree, Sawyer Is hot.

Oooohhh I can't wait for it to come back on TV over here!!! I missed the beginning of the season 1 so I stopped myself from watching it and bought the whole season DVD's instead. I watched the whole season within a week maybe a week and a half.

It too is promising to be a great series!!!!

If you are into Sci-Fi, I recommend it. :)

As for favourite characters in the show, I reckon Hurley has to be my favourite!! :Hehe: I doubt an episode doesn't pass when he says something or does something that cracks me up!! LMAO

Hmm, but then again, I like Locke too!! Still reckon he is going to do something totally amazing before we are done with the series. lol.;)

Isn't it great how they have got the actors so well chosen for the show?

Anyone have any idea how many series there are? I have heard rumours that there are to be 6 or 7!! A few more years left of Lost yet then!!! ;)

I saw the special features on the DVD's I hired and it was quite interesting to see how they picked the characters. They had charactors in mind for all the actors but then they ended up changing them all around to suit each actor.

Originally the actor who plays Charlie was going to be Sawyer, but I think he plays his part much better.

I like Locke as well. There are lots of good characters except one character I can't stand is Shannon. That blonde girl who had an affair with her stepbrother. UGH.

Anyway, Hurley's great. He used to annoy me at frist because he kept saying "Dude" every five minutes but he grew on me. This week's Lost is Hurley-centric.

Lost to be on tv for another 6 seasons?? I'd love that.

I'm also curious about the other people on the island. it's good they've brought in fresh new characters.

Natasha, the only problem I think, with bringing in new people, is that we already have our "favourites" well and truly established. :yes:

I think we are a week or two behind you guys in Oz with Lost. Our last week was the 2nd of the new series.

I totally agree, with the Shannon actress, she has to be my least-liked character on the show. She may improve????

Aparantly, they were supposed to kill Jack off (when they found the pilot in the aircraft) but everyone was angry at that, so they left him in, and wrote the story around him then to include him!!

The guy who plays Hurley (Jorge) originally tried out for Sawyer too!! There wasn't originally the part of Hurley, they wrote him in after meeting the actor!! Same with the Korean lady, she tried out for the part of Kate, but they decided to write a whole new part for her as she was so good! I think they did fantastic picking Evangeline to play Kate, she is perfect for it. :)

I'm not sure if they had anyone else in mind for Locke, or whether I just can't remember who it was.

Jack was meant to be killed off in the first episode. He was the one who was meant to be found up in the tree but they decided to kill the pilot instead.

You haven't seen anything yet. My hubby downloads them straight after they air in the States and we've just watched episode 13. It just gets better and better. As for favourite characters, they all seem to go through some changes. Some good, some bad. Our favourites at the moment are Gin, Sawyer and Eko (echo).

It's fantastic and we hang out every week for the new one to be posted online..:)

Oh, and without spoiling anything, someone is going to die! ;)

I'm not sure where he went to...but I liked the end bit where Sawyer and company met the others and learned that Rose's husband is still alive. Just as she always said he was.

Hi, yeah, I also wandered what happened to the guy who ran from the bunker. You don't get to see much of the old characters this season with the new people from the tail end of the plane in it now, do you? Oh well, doesn't matter as it's still a great show! I thought it was funny in yesterday's episode how Lucia said to Sawyer "When I say jump, you...." and Sawyer buts in and says "you jump first!" LOL!LMAO

I don't think Charlie and Claire are together...they are just friends. I love the stuff that comes out of Sawyer's mouth sometimes. No wonder he gets into trouble!

Another good episode. I rather like Sun and Jin. Jin's boss at the hotel was a nasty man. I felt like throwing my remote at him at one stage.
