Anyone remember that show with Tom Selleck? I used to love that show with him driving around in his red sports car and wearing those sexy short shorts.

Latest reports are that they are going to do a remake of Magnum PI and it's going to star George Clooney?

We used to always watch that show & I remember all the mums (back when I was at school) used to go ga-ga over him :Hehe:

It used to be on Sats night after Young Talent Time...from memory...he is rather nice the old Tom Selleck...also liked him the movie Her Alibi and Three Men and A Baby...saw him being interviewed I think on Entertainment Tonight...he still has that cheeky smile:)

Tom Selleck actually got a basketball scholarship and was pursuing a professional sports career before an injury led him to re-assess his options which led him to acting.

I used to love Magnum PI and was only wondering the other day why they haven't repeated it.

I have to say that I absolutely hated that show...not sure why...wasn't really Tom I didnt like as I like him in other things ...maybe I will like it better with George. :P

Anything with George in it is bound to be interesting - he tends to make movies and tv programs very watchable!

I used to love watching Magnum, the relationships with his friends (eg Higgins) was always comical. I think George C would do well in the role.
