in the paper today was the funniest thing i read on our presidents speech he made in new york..so i thought i'd share it with you!

he talked in an elementary school in new york where the test results were higher and exclaimed that "childrens do learn". LMAO.
he also said "as yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured". and "congress needs to work with this administration to pass legislation that helps gives our children the education they deserve."

hold up..is that english?! LMAO.:jump:

One time I read a poem composed entirely of Bushisms. It was hilarious. For a while I would scour the news for more Bushisms lol, but then I lost interest. I just hope the children at the school he spoke at won't be influenced by his speech toooooooo much ;)

LMAO. it said in the paper that supposedly one of the teachers that were present during his speech at the school didn't even flinch when she heard his mistakes, but then again i would try not to flinch myself..or then again maybe i'd just burst out laughing, LOL.

Maybe she just wasn't listening. I would probably not even be paying attention either. I get bored listening to politicians

My favorite has always been "they misunderestimate me"

Or the time when he said that there are too many doctors being sued, so too many OB/GYNs aren't able to "practice their love" with women - that one gave me the giggles :D I don't know if it's just because I have a dirty mind or what...

ugh, i'm mean come on..first of all you're the president and then you don't know how to speak and have proper grammar..also, didn't he totally contradict himself a few times during his speeches?! i'm SO not proud of my country since he's the president, lol..he just makes us look so bad..it's a joke.

I know...honestly makes me wonder how he got elected....guess it helps that voting isn't compulsory. Maybe the idiots are the only people voting because they want someone in power that truly represents them. LMAO

He cracked me up when he was in AUS and couldn't decide whether he was in OPEC or APEC and then said whoops, that's next year and who would have known that APEC was held in Sidoney not Sydney. LMAO

Actually I think if they compiled a book of all his famous misquotes it would be a best seller on the comedy list. :D

As far as I can see he generally only takes one foot out of his mouth to allow him to insert the other.

What an embarrassment he must be to his aides..not to mention the rest of America!

I've come to the conclusion that he wasn't re-elected at all, that it must of been rigged. Surely the American people wouldn't of put him in power a second time.

LMAO...and we thought his father was bad...looks like the joke really is on Americans..fancy getting stuck with two generations of them!

There was a page-a-day calendar I saw a couple years ago (and if I looked I'm sure I could find one in no time flat now) where every page had a different Bushism

Yeah he's said some funny things but so has every other president. I'd rather him make a few mistakes in his speeches sometimes rather than have sex with the interns and lie to the whole country about it. Clinton was a total joke of a president, and Hillary as president scares the crap out of me. I think I'm in the minority here with my opinion but I just had to throw in my 2 cents about it. :) And also I'm proud to be an American, more proud now than when Clinton was in office.

yeah, that's so true. i have to agree with you..clinton was a joke..hillary did most of his work for him. she'd definitely go down in history though with becoming the first woman president! i still don't know if i agree on having a woman president..not saying that we can't do a great job at it..i think we're ALOT stronger than men are! LMAO. BUT any woman would scare the bejesus out of me if they become president..

Has anyone seen the Miss South Carolina (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww) clip at YouTube? There is a link to a comparison between her answer and a whole heap of Bushisms that is worth seeing. I want to know what he means by "humans can cohabitate with fishes"...

Clinton may have been an adulterer (as are a large percentage of the rest of the American population anyway), and I have my own issues with some of his actions, but many good things happened during his administrations.

For instance:
6 million new jobs were created in the first two years of his administration, he cut taxes for 15 million low income families, made tax cuts available to 90% of small businesses all while raising taxes for just over 1% of the richest families in the country, the unemployment rate was the lowest it had been in 30 years under Clinton, the largest national deficit in history became the largest national surplus in history (amazing what a balanced budget will do), there were higher incomes at all levels of employment, the lowest poverty rates in decades, the teen pregnancy rate went down, as did nationwide abortion rates, he signed the Family and Medical Leave Act, ordered the Justice department to undertake the first ever crackdown on deadbeat parents, enjoyed the lowest crime rate in over 20 years (thanks in part to the extra law enforcement jobs he created) and he made education more accessible than at any time since the introduction of the GI Bill during WWII.

I was proud to be an American the focus was on education, employment, the environment and economic growth, not just blowin' shit up.

It's also interesting that a Gallup poll taken as he was leaving office found that Clinton actually had the highest recorded approval rating of any departing president. Not bad for someone who was such a bad president. He even came in 4th place in a Feb 2007 poll asking Americans to name "the greatest American president".

Maybe he should have kept his junk in his pants, but that doesn't really detract from his other accomplishments as president.

I think you if you asked Australians who they thought had accomplished more during their time in office as American President that you would find many more people would make positive comments about Clinton and struggle to find anything positive at all to say about the current President.

I thought you were talking about good old JohnnyLMAOHe is definantly a puppet and an embarassment to our country with his yes sir mentality when it comes to Bush.Makes you wonder how we keep electing HIM:)
