I'm in need of a luuuurve injection... Who has a beautiful love story to share?
Did you fall in love with your best friend after 20 years? Maybe you both crossed paths within minutes of each other many times over the years, only to meet finally when the timing was perfect? Perhaps a stranger shared his umbrella with you and kept walking past his destination just to be with you a little longer...

When I first saw my husband accross a room, I said to my sister "Look over there , that is the boy I am going to marry". I found out later he said to his mates, "See that girl , thats the one I am marrying". we had not met before, and didn't meet that day either.
Our 37th Anniversary is coming up in December.:D

I don,t know if it,s romantic or not I worked with my d.h.that,s how we met he was a single parent with custody of his boys and a bit gun shy, one night when when we were knocking of work he rushed past me shoved a note in my hand asking me out, kept walking and jumped into his car, the rest is history, that was 31 years ago.

let's try mine. i met him, denied him multiple times, but constantly went back to him. we had a relationship like i never had one before. he was my rock, my crying shoulder, my best friend. always there for me. and i kept running back to him when all others just wanted me for that stupid one thing. he kept telling me i was going to fall for him and all i could say at that time was yeah right. then i started to wake up and stop caring about what others thought-with him being 10 years older and having two kids..i fell in love with him. and then boom, we made it official, i moved in, and now we're engaged. it'll be a year at the end of the month that we'll be engaged..crazy how time flies! i wouldn't have it any other way. <3

You are absolutely right Alexa... It happened this way for me too.
I was washing my dishes one afternoon (a novel experience - I don't normally do this on purpose). As it happens I have a very beautiful panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, so standing at the kitchen stink wasn't as painful as it could've been.
I was quite lost in thought, (thinking about my "list of attributes I want in a soul mate"), watching the view, watching my son playing, watching the view, when, I had a moment... I realised that I was completely and absolutely happy with who and what I was in my life exactly as it was.
I realised I didn't need a soul mate to complete me - why was I looking for a "soul-mate" when I had my best friend within all this time?
The rest, as they say, is this-story. Hubby came along within a matter of days and it was SO EASY to become deeply connected and to fall in love.

why is it that when you feel so completed as you mentioned is when you find your soulmate?! that's the same thing that happened to me. when you finally stop looking and realize that you don't need a man to make you happy, they just pop up and then you fall in love.

What romantic stories! Y'all are going to make me cry! I started dating hubby in highschool, he said he knew after 2 dates that I was the one. And that was almost 10 years ago.
