Last Friday I was up at Bribie to take out Mum for her bday:yes:I called in at the local shopping centre to get my Mum a bunch a flowers :yes:when 2 ladies were walking towards me :yes:it looked like Mum and Daughter aged about 60 and 80 ish:yes:well the older lady was looking me up and down as I was coming towards them :yes:when we got up close she reached out and said 'excuse but I have to say you look very beautiful in your outfit"I was stunned and just replied Thank you with a smile:yes:but it did feel good to get an unexpected compliment:)it actually had made my day:Das I had been feeling a little down:yes:....welll it sure beat getting abused at a shopping centre.

Always nice to get a compliment, especially from a complete stranger as they're genuinely sincere I think :D

How nice sandy! its especially good when a random compliment comes when your feeling a bit down!

Good to know there are still nice people here on bribie! (believe me they are geting few and far between...only last week mum had a fight with an old bitty...and myy mums not the type to say anything usually....but thats OTT)

that would be great hardly anyone says that to a stranger nowadays so u must of looked great!
