Hubby Checked the mail box when he came home today & found a letter addressed to him, opened it up & to his surprise there was a handmade Thank you card.
Hubby is a painter & decorator & just finished a job, they sent him a thank you card for putting up with their kids & for the great job with a see you next year at the end.
What a great thing to recieve in the mail after all the hard work you put into someone's house.
You should have seen his Smile it was from ear to ear.
Good on him he deserves it after all the years he's worked for other painters & recieved shit money & no thanks but now he's making a real go at his business & it's finally paying off for him....
I'm so Proud of him :yes::yes::yes::yes:

Fantastic Mel76. That's great for your hubby - how satisfying!! :yes:

It's the tiny gestures in life that can give someone such a boost. Not many go to the trouble of the thank-you note/card....good on them for having such good social skills.

What a kind tought....your DH should keep it in a folder along with samples of his work to show when he is quoting for a job.

It is gratifying to know that there are people that still appreciate good work, good on your hubby.
