I have been meaning to get around to opening one of these accounts for weeks to start saving for Xmas (yes, nothing like last minute). I had already found that Rabo had the highest interest rate. Then I came across this special offer, was enough to get my butt into gear :hehe:

Get $50 free when you open a new RaboPlus online savings account. (Australia only) Offer available between Sunday 7th October and Saturday 13th October 2007 and quote SMS1007 in the promotional code field when you apply cupon code SMS1007.

Hey I'll do anything for $50 (no I won't, not really), been meaning to set up a Christmas account for a while (since last Christmas) so that shall do the trick nicely. :D

Leigh did you have any problem applying online with Firefox?? Figured I would do it now so I don't forget but there doesn't seem to be a thing to click on to take me to the next step? :dk:

There is a thread somewhere from over 2yrs ago when I was wanting to open one :hehe: knew I would get around to it eventually.

I did the signup yesterday and didn't have any problems at all. Maybe they have a lot of people due to the special offer?

It's working in IE so no probs, just not working in my version of FF, it doesn't come up with the continue button. Do I need to put in a promotional reference??? I've put in the promo code but not sure whether I should put AFW in the promo reference or leave it blank.

Oh, glad you got it going. No, you just need to stick in the SMS1007 for the promocode, you leave the other one blank :)

Cheers, you just saved me from having to ring them and probably sit on hold for a while! Have printed it off now, will pop it in the post this afternoon. :D
