Book Swaps

There was mention in the other thread that people would be interested in a book swap. We had sort of tried it before, but there wasn't a huge amount of interest and the logistics of cataloguing everything made it a little too difficult.

The easiest way would be, if you are interested. Join up and add your books to LibraryThing (http://www.librarything.com) so everyone can see what you have. Kay has already made a good start adding hers :)

I have also created a group over there, so we can more easily connect. All for Women LibraryThing group (http://www.librarything.com/groups/allforwomen)

I've added some of mine, not all by far yet. Some of mine are even in temporary storage at my sister's place because I was running out of places here to put them. :blush:

Some of my books I'd happily swap on a permanent basis - read them and don't plan on reading again. Others I would swap but would want back after they are read. :D

i will have a look at the info then decide whether i can afford to do it or not coz postage isnt that cheap lately.

i was thinking the same mummy..if i lived closer, i'd definitely do it. i don't think it's worth me and whoever else to pay a few dollars to swap books..it'd be cheaper just to go to the library for free! but i think it's a great idea!
