Did anyone watch Andrew Denton tonight, he had Billy Connolly on being interviewed...very funny...

I think he is great and while he is not everyone's cup of tea, (like his swearing) he did say a lot of funny things eg that we all know what Harry Potter will look like when he grows up...just look at Johnny Howard (who he hates by the way)...this he said the F word about 11 times...he is now a grandfather, talked a bit about his childhood etc....

Anyway I am seeing him live next Sunday night at Newcastle, I have seen him live before in 98 while in Perth...

Just wondering what other people think of him...I work with people who can't stand him...and think he has made enough money for a 64 year old and should just retire...he is different lets put it that way.

He is a good friend of Parkinson who has interviewed him heaps as well...

I didnt see the interview but I like him. I think there are plenty of other people out there who should be retiring before him. It is nice to see people who dont conform - it is kind of refreshing.

I like him, and I always like the Parky interviews with him. I saw the ad for Enough Rope and I meant to watch it (don't really like Andrew Denton, lol, so don't usually watch Enough Rope) but forgot :(

I like him and find him really funny and I reckon he'd be a really nice guy to have around.

Very funny. The books written by his wife Pamela are an amazing insight into this amazing mans life. Always a laugh. I think Andrew Denton asked some really great questions and wanted to ask a lot more.

I don't usually watch Andrew Denton so I didn't even know it was on but I love Billy and would have watched it. He should so NOT retire- If people don't like him or are offended by what he says then they should learn to use the remote:D

Another Billy fan here too!! Just bought the DVD of his tour of NZ, we already have the tour of Australia, which is fantastic!! I want the one of his tour of England, Scotland and Wales too. ;) My boys have all his other DVD's and we used to have all his records (gosh showing my age now!!! lol)

I would love to have seen that interview, I think he is great, and no, he shouldn't retire yet. ;)

So true. Must be something about people with an appalling upbringing - they either sink or swim later in life. I love Billy, he is good (shock) value :)
