Anyone watching it?

I watched a lot of the last American series and quite enjoyed it. Tho it was a little hard to keep track of the different times and days it was on. Then end was great, seeing the transformations..amazing.

I am really enjoying the Australian one. You get to see so much more of what goes on.

I was really sad last night when David went, he needed the help most of all. But had tears in my eyes when they showed him after. He looked great in just 2 mths.

Look forward to seeing all the transformations.

7pm is a hard time in our house, with dinner/bath/bed blah blah. I watched the American series (both of them) and I'd probably watch this one if it was on later. But I saw an ad tonight - apparently Bob The Trainer leaves? Can you let me know what that's all about?

I don't know either, but it can't be for the rest of the show as he and Jillian were on Rove last week and it started recording back in December. I think it may have been a family thing or something? Maybe someone else knows, I don't get to watch it every night.

It's a great show, I flick between that and home and away but I think I watch more of the biggest loser lol. From what I've heard it's because of family reasons why Bob left. It was sad to see David leave. Does anyone have any favourite's yet?

The blue team leave me cold - it's red team all the weigh!

Yesterday when Cal and I were in Hervey Bay stopped at a pedestrian crossing who should step out in front of us but Artie one of the contestants....he was looking great..couldn't really tell but I would guess he has lost 20 or 30 kgs. So that was our little brush with fame :)

Yeah he looks good. There was write up in the local paper that he came home the other day but they didn't say how much he lost. Had a picture with him and his long time friend that met him off the plane.

Bob left for a few days because his mother died suddenly of a heart attack.

I didn't realise Bob was 40! I think he is pretty easy on the eye, he looks fab for his age.

Naomi

oh, poor guy - it would suck for that to happen when you're on the other side of the world :(

Leigh, he doesn't really do it for me. But he does look great for 40!

Unfortunately I am not getting to see much of the show - It's on at the wrong time of day. It was much better when it was on a little later. I did watch the first episode & have been getting to see bits & pieces here & there but it's not the same.

I love seeing them though when they do an update - it's incredible what they achieve

Hi, I've been watching The Biggest Loser too, and also watched the American series of them too. There is a site for the Biggest Loser which you can click on the contestants and read up about their life stories. www.thebiggestloser.com.au I like Shane and Adro best! :) From Contiki.

I think I like Kristie best; she is well spoken and reminds me so much of a girl I used to work with a few years ago.

Anyone read what's in TV week. I don't buy it, but I might have to..but thats what they want me to do. Make up lies about cheating etc LOL

Who do you think will go tomorrow? I hope it is Tracey, don't really like her.

Telori
05-03-2006, 04:38 PM
Which one is Tracy? I dont like anyone on the blue team. I'm glad Wal was moved to the red team. All up I want Adro to win.

I'm not really warming to Tracey either - she seems like a real foul-mouthed b*tch. I also can't stand Artie.

Tracey is the plus-size model - http://www.thebiggestloser.com.au/contestant/biography/Tracy.aspx

I absolutely love watching the Biggest Loser and when they started advertising for people to go on thought that I'd do it. Quite thankfull I didn't now because at only 91kilos probably would have been laughed out of the audition LMAO , only time in my life I would have been dubbed toooooo SKINNY. HEHEHEH
Anyway I really like wal, and the lady who has 5 kids and shane. Don't like that lady who is a model (what a hand model maybe), ugly mouth and such and ugly attitude, just staying in so that she beats wal, what a cow. But unfortunately they probably won't get rid of her because she's good tele, so we're stuck with her.

I was quite sad that Cat went. I felt she deserved and needed to be there more than the Tracey that is for sure. I think it was a very stupid move on their part, and they will be lucky to win another weight in now.

mejane

How many of you were willing Harry to eat those chocolates last night? The poor guy had a difficult choice to make.

I think it was a very stupid move on their part, and they will be lucky to win another weigh in now.
I agree entirely - very short sighted, by getting rid of the ones with more weight to lose they now have less chance at the weigh in and will be voting each other off soon enough. They are calling it the FAT alliance (Fiona, Artie, Tracey)

It seemed pointless to me at the time, but I'm now thinking Fiona was pretty smart to eat those chocs and win the immunity. But I like Harry better and there doesn't seem to be much hope for him this week :(

lOvingKWTP
09-03-2006, 09:28 AM
I was watching Harry last night and how Wal was trying to encourage him to eat the choccies... that must have been a very hard decision to make! I was like "come on! eat the chocolates! eat themm!!"
But that alliance annoys me *argh* :hmmf: I feel sorry for Harry, being the last one stuck with them... it was horrible when they voted out Cat, but I guess that's how they want to play.

Jewly
09-03-2006, 09:38 AM
I couldn't understand why Fiona ate the chocolates at all. She knew that if they had to vote someone off that it would have been Harry so I think she only did it because she wanted to have a pig out. Apparently she's often over-eating and they've started calling her 'Custard Girl' cause she keeps getting caught out eating custard when she shouldn't be.

What I found really funny was that she only had to eat one of the chocolates to win...lol

Telori
09-03-2006, 10:32 AM
I understand Harry totally, I would have chosen my loved ones over chocolate anyday! And Fiona is just a pig.

I really think Fiona should have been voted off instead of Kat. Fiona was caught raiding the fridge a few times, she actually put on weight in week 2 and she is just so annoyingly fake. By the look of her she isn't 'majorly' overweight ( I can see people sitting at home who tried to get on the show watching her and complaining because they are obese and should have been given the Biggest Looser challenge instead of Fiona.). I think they chose her because she is very pretty and if she lost enough weight she could be used as a sexy advertisement for the show.

Ok that's my bitch....:D

It's just wrong how Tracy, Artie and Fiona are teaming together against Harry. Harry seems like a good guy (haven't watched it all the time cos i flick channels) Kristie is my favourite and I liked Jo too. But the 3 that are teaming together are definately playing the game, but if Harry goes on monday and the blue team lose a weigh in the week after then they'd have to vote for each other so really it's kinda stupid. If you play the game then you need to play it on ya own to actually do it properly

Telori
09-03-2006, 10:45 AM
Yeah they haven't really played the game very well, if they keep getting rid of the ones who loose the most weight, they will never win a weigh in again.

I wonder if they will get to choose one of the reds to even up teams. That would ensure they always have someone to vote off...

Alexa

Why is Fiona still there? I like Cat...this is a weird show...

mejane
09-03-2006, 07:31 PM
I couldn't understand why Fiona ate the chocolates at all.
I think she was feeling vulnerable because Harry has been losing the most weight, and last week won immunity because he was "the biggest loser". She must have believed that she would be eliminated by default if the same happens this week. I think she realises she is living on borrowed time :P

Jewly
09-03-2006, 08:35 PM
oh yeah, I forgot that the biggest loser for the week wins immunity, so I guess Fiona does have something to worry about.

Leigh
09-03-2006, 09:46 PM
We were wondering tonight...So becase Fiona has immunity, Harry won't get it for being the biggest loser for the week? That sucks. I wish they would do something to break up the 3 of them up, that would stuff their silly plans.

mejane
09-03-2006, 11:22 PM
they should move Big Wal back into the blue team - both Artie and Tracey have commented how they wanted to leave when Wal was there :P

Luv Angel Musik Babee
10-03-2006, 11:55 AM
Lmao mejane. I don't see what their problem with Wal is, he seems alright to me, playing the game for sure but Tracy and Artie are trying to so it's kinda confusing to me lol

mejane
11-03-2006, 06:26 PM
I didn't like Wal at first because he was fond of sledging the Red team; liked him better after he left the Blue team :)

Luv Angel Musik Babee
11-03-2006, 06:31 PM
Yeah perhaps it was the bad influence of the blue team that made him cranky and such. I can't wait to see what happens on monday. Harry will no doubt go but will they put someone from the red team in the blue to even them up again. Could be very interesting, I may have to give up home and away for a night lol. Oh and ya know how they do that check up thing? That's a great idea to see how they are going no after being off the show for a bit.

I think Harry will go next. Not because he deserves to go but because of the Bitches...yes Artie is a bitch too.

I was disgusted last night to watch how those 3 bitches acted in the elimination. They couldn't even get of their arses to say good bye to him. At least he is now at home, and being supported by his family and friends and doing well.

What happened next was hilarious the way they carried on throwing their little tanties and walking out LMAO

It will be interesting to see who gets paired with who tonight.

Oh yeah last night was sooooooo funny. Just cause one wanted to go home they all wanted to go. How childish. But at least now that they have to go into pairs the 3 'bitches' as Telori calls them are going to be split up. Tonight will be very interesting

Telori
14-03-2006, 04:59 PM
I pity the poor person who is going to be paired with Fiona. I wonder how they are going to decide?

Good to see Harry with his boys at the end of the show and he looks so much better - happier and healthy. The money at the end isn't everything.

Luv Angel Musik Babee
14-03-2006, 05:03 PM
Nope definately not. It's just an added bonus. And aren't Harry's kids too cute? Especially the little one. I would love to go on a show like that just to get me motiveted to lose the weight and learn all that stuff. I tried joining a gym in town but I could never find time to go.

Telori
14-03-2006, 11:06 PM
I've thought of joining a Gym, but I dont want to pay out all that money and then not be able to use the it. I have some excersise equipment at home and yes I do use it, but only half heartedly at the moment. I'm breast feeding and I would hate to work too hard and loose my milk. I dont even know if that can happen but...

Did you watch tonight? Artie and Tracey are paired so no doubt if they are in the bottom set of pair at the end of the week they will be out of there! :jump:

I've not been able to watch the biggest loser since moving last week (tv is still not hooked up properly:crying: )

Sounds bitchy, but I was very glad when Jo was eliminated. She was such a drama queen while at school!! looks like she hasn't changed all that much

"Selfless personality"????. not the Josie I Knew.

Woohoo lol. I'd love to get some equipment but don't have the cash which sucks.

I've got one of those sit up things - layby'ed from Kmart
and one for the legs and butt (really need this one!:) ) I got it off a TV ad on 30 day free trial and then I pay it off over 5 months I think - it's only about $40 a month. - still doing my free trial but it works.

Luv Angel Musik Babee
15-03-2006, 09:21 AM
Oh ok cool. What's the names of them if ya don't mind me asking? So I can maybe price them and I don't want to waste money on things that don't work.

Lea78
15-03-2006, 10:27 AM
For those who might be interested in exercise equipment, but dont have the cash. Make sure you join up to your local freecycle group. You will find there are always people out there giving away free exercise stuff. I got a bike thing from my local group. The one I got is one you dont pedal, but sit on and have to push out with your legs and pull down with your arms.
Just a thought. Also if people are game, try a diabetic diet. Definetly loose a lot of weight that way.

Ah...didn't think of immunity...maybe they wont have it now because the two pairs of biggest loosers arent' up to be voted out...
