When they come on do you mute them or change the channel?

Trev and his family, I call the family of flickers are just that. They constantly flick channels and it drives me nuts. I swear next time they come and visit I'm gonna either hide all the remote control. Better still you can buy one of those gadgets that interfere with the remote control signal. :P

Sometimes I flick (if I'm watching another show at the same time) but usually I watch them - I quite enjoy ads (except for the really annoying ones). The ads seem to be louder than the rest of the programs though, so I might turn them down (but not mute).

We absolutley hate ads. They are so loud and annoying. Don't need to hear them, so we mute them :P We don't flick channels much either, tho we are not big tv watches.

If we do flick I usually flick to ABC or SBS (if already not watching those) since they don't normally have ads LOl and sometimes have something really interesting on. Hate ads, sometimes wish they would have like 10 ads on every half hour/or after a movie like they do in the UK.

I think I do both, if I am not flicking, I mute the buggers. I don't like ads.

Hubby is a flicker it drives me nuts we will be watching one show then when the ads come on off we go to another channel, then he gets engrossed in that until the ads come on then back to the first show which we have missed bits of. whats worse is when ads are on both shows at the same time so we go to channel no 3 and hey presto we are now watching 3 shows at the one time ;(

When I'm watching a movie sometimes I read my book in the ads (i wouldn't recommend this either as it can get confusing :P ) This drives my hubby nuts because then I start asking silly questions about the movie. :tyeo:

When the ads start depends who's got the remote lol. When Ive got it and flick doesnt seem so bad but when some ones else is flicking it drives me crazy. ( I know im mad lol)
Also a great time to make a quick cuppa or a toilet break.
