how does this site work

Im just wondering how this site works as in when I post this thread and someone replies can you respond straight away and how do you know that somone has posted back.
I have been going to todays posts everytime I send one to see updates is this right
Sorry if that sounds confusing just trying to work it out so I will then use this site alot more

Hi Nat, that is pretty much the way I do it (todays posts)! Others may do it differently though :hehe: And Yes, your posts are put up straight away for us to reply to :)

well what i do whenever i come on is on the main index page if there are new posts in 1 of the forums the arrow will be blue instead of grey and then once i go in the forums all the new topics which have new posts will look like opened envelopes whereas the ones with no new posts will have a shut envelope so thats how i know if people have written anythin new. hope that helps.

I usually go to the new posts section on the left hand side of the home page. Also, to refresh the page, just hit the F5 key on the top of your keyboard rather than going back and forth.

You can also click on My Options at the top of the screen and it will show you a list of threads you have contributed to that have since had more replies.
