Come On were all ladies here we can talk about this subject without getting embarrassed can't we....:hehe:
My Parents took me clothes shopping for Christmas .
Well my mum just purchased a bra from Bra's & Things & she wanted to buy me one.I usually get mine from Big W
But if there's one thing i've learned in my life so far is not to argue with my mum.
So off we went to Bra's & Things. Tried on the bra & WOW yep it was the WOW factor.
Now i'm not small if you know what i mean i've got descent sized Boobs
My mum got me 2 of them
I got home i took one now & one for Christmas & put it on without hubby knowing
Later that night when the kids went to bed he said "have you had a boob job without me knowing"
then i flashed him & he nearly fell over with joy :hehe:
I tell you it does look like i've had a boob job lifts them right up.
i said to him "i'm taking these girls out partying":hehe::hehe::hehe:

Just had to brag as i got very excited as they look pretty good now well actually my boobs look fantastic...:hehe:

Sorry if i grossed anyone out.
but when you have 3 kids & your boobs are looking pretty old & saggy & all it took was a bra WOW it gives you a great feeling of looking beautiful again

Oh lovely!:waves: What type of bra was it? Im always searching for an uplifting bra, Im a full D cup and I find it hard to buy a 'push up' type of bra, they all stop at a C cup. So you felt instantly lifted!:D

it's a Triumph
i can't remember what the bra is actually called
but it's lacy (so very beautiful - which is hard to find in my size)
but in bigw i'm a size 20D
But in this one i'm an 18E but it fits well, goes right down to were it's suposed to sit & you don;t get any side rolls

i don't really know,
i'm an E cup so maybe.....
The funny thing is once you go & try bra's on from Bras & things
90% of the time your a different size then what you normally would wear.
Just go in Di & have a look.
i must admit i was hesitant about going into the shop as you just imagine skinny gorgeous girls shopping there
but once in there & trying on bra's WOW i'm going back there next week to buy more....

i'm glad a bra has made you feel so great about yourself! it's the little things in life that make us feel so great, isn't it!? we have a store here called victoria's secret..not sure if you have it there, but i absolutely LOVE the store. they have the most gorgeous models and the best bras..i only shop there, even though their bras are a bit pricey. they can range anywhere from $25 to probably $100 i think..check out their site..i'm sure they'd deliver to australia! and we have different sizes..i have no clue what E and G are..they must be HUGE! LMAO i'm an A or a B, depends on the type of bra. :hehe:

Di, you can get fitted at B&T's, and they will help you get the perfect bra.

I remember a few years ago my sil walked in there and was looking around, the sales lady offered to help her and she agreed, while the lady was talking to her she started touching her boobs and feeling around them for proper measurement, my sil was not expecting that and nearly died, she couldn't get out of there fast enough!LMAO

I don't mind the help to find a very good supportive bra, but only the 'keep your hands to yourself' type of help!:yes:LMAO

that was me when we went in.
My mum's like they will measure you & all that & i said no i can do it all myself i'm a big girl now mum
just the thought of someone else touching there makes me squirm (my husband being exempt there:hehe:)
but i managed to do it all myself & your right a good bra is so worth it....

Years ago I would go into David Jones in Sydney, and the lady there would fit you for a Bra. It was a big thing in those days to get a well fitting Bra..now that I think of it , probably a very good advertising campaign to make all women believe thats what they should do. I loved the piped music they played too...what was it now Brahms or Beethoven..LMAO LMAO
I never kept up with it cause the lady freaked me out too..LMAO

Thats great that you got a bra that you feel great in!

I have never had a bra fitted and im not in a rush to either, i really hate the someone touching me part. Especially my boobs! On the rare occasion i do buy myself a bra i usually do pretty well at big W/kmart/best &less .......i dont think i have ever paid over $20 for a bra!

I actually brought one a couple of months ago (i only have one bra that fits my pregnant boobs) And i failed, i now refuse to buy anymore until my boobs settle after i havea bub. For now i just put up with the wash and wear routine! (its not so bad atm as i dont go out of the house more than once or twice a week and i dont wear a bra at home (at least not while pregnant and uncomfortable!!)

Hey Christina - we don't have victorias secret here but they do deliver here. I buy most of my underwear and other bits online from them and have them delivered here. I love most of the range. My hubby just loves getting the catalogue and gawking at all of the gorgeous girls LOL! We even each have a favourite!

I know the models are beautiful. They also have some great casual dresses and tops. Much cheaper than here so I get them as well. The T-Shirts especially are great!

sounds really great..! There is nothing more uplifting than a new bra.. For a lot of years I had not much to put in there, but since menopause, not much else has changed but the boob size did...
