Update on DS job!

:D DS is still at the job he came home with paperwork today saying that he is on a 2 mth trial and if both parties are happy at the end of that he will be offered an apprenticeship:yes:this will be through Mission Australia:yes:his pay will still be the same$550 pw:y:and they have a contract with Centrelink for night work they do and when they do that it is $500 per night :Dwhich he did on Tuesday night when they went Gympie.DS said it is hard work:yes:but the money is great for him especially while he is still at home ,he can get a real savings going:)on the bottom of the letter it says......We do look forward to a long and prosperous engagement as your performance so far has been exceptional and we appreciate ypur consideration of this.:D
I am sooo proud of my son at the moment ,he got a few kicks in the teeeth in past jobs but as I said to him the last job did him a favour sacking him:D this is the best thing to happen to him :winner:

Sounds like great news Sandy, hope it works out for him....trades are good money, esp with the skills shortage so if he can get an apprenticeship out of it, that'd be fantastic :D

I'd photocopy the letter, attach a post-it saying "FYI" and mail it to his previous employers :hehe:
