loved him 20 years ago but i don't like his new stuff & i remember seeing him on stage a few years ago & i just thought OMG your voice just is'nt that good anymore. i know he is'nt good looking but i used to think he was sexy ( 20 yrs ago lol )

I saw the ad on tv the other night and gave hubby the hint "gee I'd love to go to that and oh look its around my birthday" but in reality I don't think its gonna happen.

I last saw him in concert in 1984 ! Its been a while. So I lashed out and bought mum and I front row seats for here in Perth. It will be an extremely early mothers day pressie for her!

Did you all watch his Enough Rope interview this week. He was lovely. Such a refreshingly honest interviewee. Some people try to avoid certain questions but he just answered everything Denton threw at him.

He's still got it ! Love the hair and love the raspy growly voice. He still does it for me as much as he did when I use to sit and sway to Tonights The Night on Countdown in the 70s !

Sting and Rod in the space of 30 days - I just dont know if will be able to handle the excitement next year!

Oh Sandy I hope you get to go. I think he'd be great to see live too. The Enough Rope interview was good and he was very up front and honest which was refreshing to see.

usually during non ratings season they replay the popular Enough Rope eps - so keep your eyes out for it - it was a great interview and Rod was the only guest so it was a long intensive interview.

Oh Kjoy I'm so jealous. I was talking to a girlfriend the other day about going but we didn't like the idea of an outdoor concert. After seeing him on Denton I wished I had of got tickets after all. I still might. I think he's fantastic for a man in his 60s and I love his voice, always have:D

Well the main tickets have only just gone on sale (actually next monday I think). I got mine in the presale thru the promoters. So you havent missed out. Go for it.

I havent seen anything at Members Equity stadium before - but I love 2 streets away from it and have heard some concerts thru my windows. I am not personally into outdoor concerts - especially in yucky Perth summers. Last time I saw Rod it was front row in the Entertainment Centre - a gorgeous venue for concerts that sadly sits rotting and wasted.

I saw Rod Stewart one time when I went to the American Idol Finale for the first season. My aunt was so excited that she said "Hi Rod Stewart!" but he didn't respond.
