Well as you know I had a baby girl by c-section on the 27thof October. On the 26th they tried the gel and I stayed there overnight.Next morning they broke my water and then induced with the drip.By 4.30p.m I had only dilated 3cm and was up to the highest amount on the drip.I was having slight pains but not what you would call contractions. They said they could up the dosage more which could be dangerous for me and bub and also may do nothing and I would still have to have caesar or they could give me a caesar. We discussed it and told them we would have the caesar(this was at 4.45).By 5.36 she was born after mummy being absolutely freaked out(have never had an operation at all).Anyway she screamed for the first hour or so till I came up from recovery:) But other than that she was perfectly fine:)
Since we have come home we have been trying to settle into a routineLMAO which is always fun with a newborn.Have to say she is quite a good bubba and her cries are actually quite cute:)Obviously am rather tired but in all am feeling rather good. The c-section was not as bad as I thought it would be apart from the absolute and utter boredom of not being able(or not supposed to) do anything. Think I am missing the whole act of being able to get out of the house when I want, but am not able to as I am not allowed to drive:(Managed a short walk the other day but since then it has rained and rained and rained. Hubby goes back to work on Monday which is fine apart from the no driving thing(which means ED will miss a few days of school unless a solution crops up)Have been doing the housework in spurts since I came home from hospital and have found that if I do not push it I can get it all done with little pain:)Little Miss Ebony is sleeping at the moment and has been awake all morning so she should have a fairly decent one:)Will try put up some piccies later.Hubby has gone fishing and has the camera(and the know how) with him. Definantly going to invest in my own camera soon:)
Anyway that is a little update for you all and thanku very much for all your well wishes. Oh and she was 9pd 12oz.Same as my ED. MD was 9pd 9oz:)She was 52.5cm long and her head was 36.5cm.I still swear I had to have the caesar as her head was to big and would not fitLMAO
