Hey Supa, my spelling of Tina is Teena. And it never gets spelt correctly. And yes I get called anything from Christina to Betina - people just assume it is short for something else.

I was actually named after my mother who's nickname was tiny teeny and her name was Catherine...???:)

But she was a tiny woman.

lol Telori everyone wants to spell mine Teena!!! I was actually named after the actress who played Ginger on Gilligans Island Tina Louise. When I worked at the pub eons ago my boss used to call me Ginger. Then last yr I used my ATM card at a small shop & he looked at it & said wow I bet your parents watched Gilligans Island. He knew the actress as she was his favourite. I just had to ring Mum & tell her.

Well, don't know too many popular or famous Annabel's. Apparently it was a fairly popular name in the aristocricy. Fergie wanted to call her first child Annabel, but apparently the Queen said it was too "yuppie-ish".

In Latin/Italian it means "Beautiful Ann".

LMAO

My sister's name Tiffany wasn't popular until 1960s. It means Three, the Trinity.

My Mum's name is Coleen ( yes, one L and two E's.). It means Irish Girl and her name was popular in the 1920s! That surprised me.

My Dad's name is Allan. It means Handsome. (Better not tell him that though!) and his name was poluar throughout but dropped out in the 90s.

My neice's name is Kaylee. It means from Kay and Lee and its also spelled CHAELI, It didn't get popular until the 90s.
