I think I might try a Judy Nunn book next, (Ailsa from Home and Away) they haven't really appealed to me before, but as they say 'you can't judge a book by the cover'!
Has anyone read any of her books? Which one/s and what did you think of it?
I read one of hers last year I cant remember the name of it but I was going to see if I get the new one for Chrissy?

I've read the blurbs of all of them and none of them have appealed to me at all. I have been trying to expand my horizon as far as books go but if I don't get grabbed by the blurb, I won't take it home.
Laura if you're after something a bit different, try Di Morrissey's The Reef. I actually quite liked it, even though I've read none of her other books

I've read all of hers...they are usually based on Australian history. Ones I've liked are:
Heritage
Beneath The Southern Cross
Kal-really good
I bought her new one called Floodtide-based in Western Australia spanning the decades 60s-80s.
Guess I'm the only one who likes her work!
Di Morrissey is better though, I enjoy her books too.

Yes Storm I liked The Reef as well.
I am into Jodie Picuolt (sp) lately but I think this is the last one I will read she is getting a bit predictable?

I like Marion Keys and Patricia Cornwell books too.
I actually 'borrowed' some Marian books off one of my SILs last time I was in Brisbane, and then 'forgot' to take them out of my suitcase before leaving for the airport! lol (we've both done that to each other alot though over the years, it's sort of like a silent understanding thing we have going on!)
I have read several of Judy Nunn books and Di Morrissey books and I thouroughly enjoy them.
I like reading books about Australia.
