Just wondering how P Puss is getting along after her treatment for her thyroid problems? Have been thinking about her, hoping all is going well...

Floria was telling me she had her second lot of blood tests yesterday. So fingers crossed for a good result.

edit to add: I was close enough, I talk to you nearly everyday, like I can remember which day you said what LOL

Thanks for asking after P Puss.

For those on OTO. My girl, P Puss was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I sent her to Brisbane to have treatment. This was a month ago. She went back for blood work on Friday. It's been a long journey and hopefully the journey will come to its end on Monday when the results come back from pathology.

I'll keep you all informed.

Got P Puss's test results back and her T4 levels are back to normal range and heartrate has lowered. All is looking good. She has to go back for followup blood work. I'm happy with treatment and her rate of recovery.

That's great news Floria :) Glad all is now well, worth all the stress and hassle. Bit dissapointed she didn't glow in the dark tho :P

Floria I didn't know about this! I'm sorry to hear she was diagnosed with this... is it for life? I don't know much about it. Am glad to hear she is doing good.

Monty, not a big thing. I posted on another site when she was first diagnosed.

It was all very nerve racking in the beginning, Alex and Scarlett will attest to that. I flew P Puss down to Chermside, only vet in QLD to do treatment. Hopefully no return of the disease.
