I've always sworn by the Electrolux, but I think he's finally had his day!

This has been going on for a couple weeks now, stopping and starting, and today he took his last breath!:yes:LMAO (half way through vacuuming my mattress I might add, won't be rolling to the other side in a hurry!):hehe:

So I'm on the market for a new vac now, I know there was a thread about them here but I'm on the market for a good, reliable, 'cheap' vac. I'm on abit of a tight budget and only want to pay up to a couple hundred for one at this stage.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you in advance!;)

Never mind! I kicked it, it's going again!

Hopefully this little bugger will have enough 'winds' to get me through the holidays. Will definatley have to invest in a new vac early next year though.

A friend of mine recently got one through Deals Direct (http://http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/eurolab-dual-typhoon-cyclonic-bagless-vacuum-cleaner-silver/). I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a motorised head though so I'm not sure how it would go on carpet but she said it's great for tiles, wooden floors and the few rugs that she does have. And like she said, for the price she paid for it, if it does snuff it in a few years, who cares :hehe:

My mum has one of those cyclonic ones- She got it from Harvey Norman and it is brilliant, I am not sure how much it was but I find it better than my vax :)

guess you were sucked in Naomi ;)

I have no advise for you sorry, as I think you get what you pay for when it comes to vacs, I beleave in paying a lot for a good one, I have no time for cheap gutless vacs that have lesser sucker than me

Stormy, going to get one from Deals Direct, thanks for that. That will be perfect until I can afford a good one, this is the time of the year that I'm completely cashed out! :hehe:
