Has anyone ever read any novels by Truman Capote?
To be honest I'd never heard of the man before the movie was made, but I'm interested in reading 'In Cold Blood'.
I'm just off to search the library catalogue online to see if I can order it through my local library.

Yeah, I've read a lot of his stuff, I went through a Capote thing a couple of years ago. I didn't know they made a movie about him until DH started reading a couple of my books.
His travel writing/journalism is quite interesting too, as are some of his shorter stories. Maybe see if your library has an omnibus of his writing so you can get a taste of his different styles.
Edit - my favourite is The Grass Harp. Don't know why, just like the story.

I haven't yet Jewly but it is funny you mention this book as my sister gave that book to me for Christmas as she knows I love crime novels - It looks great & is next on my list to read.

Well, it sounds like they're definately worth reading.
Can't wait to get back into reading again cause I haven't read a good book in ages.
I have reserved In Cold Blood at the Library. Have heard good reviews, so am looking forward to a good read.
