My Kids always loved this and I was always happy when they requested it for dinner as it's so easy.

440g creamed corn
440g corn kernels
2 potatoes diced
2.5 cups water
chicken stock cube

Put all the above ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil and simmer 20 minutes.

Then add and stir in;

250m milk
cup grated cheese
4 spring onions (chopped)

Great winter recipe served with crusty bread :)

I'm making Corn Chowder for dinner tonight and I always double the recipe to make a decent amount. I don't double the water or milk tho as I don't like it too thin. I use 500ml chicken stock and the juice from the canned corn, which equals about 3 cups of liquid. I added more potatoes (used pontiac potatoes just diced not peeled ..see I really am lazy) too LOL so you can put what pleases you. :)
