Dancing with the Stars

Is it just me or do you think that the most of the music that they are dancing to is a bit strange for ballroom dancing???
I have done ballroom dancing as a social thing and I've watched the professionals do it and the music is nothing like what these people are doing.

I must say though that Chong and the Band are wonderful! They just did Star Wars theme and it sounded absolutely terrific!!!!!

It was good Beverley. I agree about the music - some of it just doesn't seem to go with the dancing. I think it sometimes either too fast or too slow.

It wasn't a bad show tonight - although I didn't really think much of the professionals that came on.

The clothing they wear isn't like ballroom frocks either I thought - but I could be wrong.

I absolutely LOVE the show. There's only one thing that makes me tape the show so I can fast forward through the babbling ... Daryl. He bugs me to death! I just can't watch it and put up with his 'singing' and 'dancing'. Drives me crazy!!!

Woohoo-Simone is gone. Why was she even on the show? She wouldn't even be famous if not for Shane. "Celebrity Mum" pfft.

My favourite is Noeline Brown. I hope she can make it in the top two.

Natasha I missed it this week so didn't know about Simone thank God she's gone. :clap: The sympathy thing was wearing a bit thin. I think Noelene is fantastic too she seems to be having a great time and always looks gorgeous.:D

Yeah after Hey Hey, who would have thought Daryl could be so annoying? I use to love that show!

Kate has to go next her dance last week was...:eww: I even think she should have went last week instead of Simone (but I'm glad Simone has gone she has absolutely no rhythm!)

Has anyone been watching this lately? I only turn it over to watch Grant dance but I have seen some of the others. What is the big ruckus this week about Jeniffer Hawkins being voted off? They are raving on about her being too beautiful and she is going on about how women wont let their husbands/partners vote for her cause they are jealous!

Personally I think Kate should have left last week, but Jeniffer isn't that great either. I think she needs to get over herself and face the facts she isn't as good a dancer as some of the others.

I watched it the night that Jennifer was voted off and she was really shocked to hear her name being called out. I thought for sure that Noelene was going but there you go. I haven't heard anything else about it though.

I hope Kate goes soon cause I can't stand that woman and I wish they would get a new host. I've never been a fan of Daryl Somers and you're all right, he can't sing to save himself.

I think it was more the media saying she was too beautiful than Jennifer herself. The Media really went over the top with it. They had it on Sunrise and Today Tonight I think. I was talking to a girlfriend of mine about it and we were saying how ridiculous no female wouldn't vote because they were jealous or thought she was too beautiful but when she went into the salon (she's an Hair dresser) the young apprentices were like "Oh yeah she's not beautiful, she's too fat, she's ugly who does she think she is", stuff like that. Hello she's Miss Universe LMAO So maybe the media are right at least with the younger voters. Me personally I never vote on those sort of shows. :jump: The media make such a big deal about those sort of things all for ratings I suppose :D

Kosta is not bad, at least he is a bit humble...he is not a brilliant dancer but he is not in your face either...

I think Grant will win.

I didn't watch it all the way through but I think it was just an update show. They mentioned that the contestants get an extra week to practice. So pretty sure all the top five will be in it next week. :D

I love Grant and Kosta. Was so glad to see the back of Simone felt sorry for her but she just couldnt dance and also wasnt too shocked to see Jennifer go as she wasnt that good a dancer

Every time I flicked between DTWS and Survivor, there were always ads so I gave up. Glad to hear Kate went. Noeline still there, good for her.

Grant was great, him and Amanda should win (I vote for them every week even when I dont watch the show) He is so cute...like little boy cute, not sexy cute! We went to see him when he came to Mackay with the Weather Wagon for Sunrise. My second daughter is taller than him...she is 13...but he is just so nice and it doesn't seem put on...I love him.
