I'm in the process of cleaning up my inbox. I realised there are lots of emails I don't bother to open (and I don't mean the ones that are offering me fabulous staying power and an enormous apendage ;) ). Things like regular advertising emails for online stores, or ebay notices (I read those on MyMessages on eBay anyway), PM notifications (since I usually check on the actual site before I get notifications). Heaps of things, I just ignore. I really should unsubscribe to a few of them, lol. I am an email slacker - I often forget to reply to emails for ages (or forever  ) because I mark them unread and intend to come back and do it but then they disappear in all the junk and ... oops.

Do you read all your emails? Do you reply straight away when you need to reply?

I reply to emails straight away. I put other emails into seperate folders 'to be read later' eg newletters and special offers etc. Every so often I go through these folders and if something isn't read within the month I delete it.
I have gone through and unsubscribed from alot of things though. If I end up with too many things in my inbox I dont read anything.

I'm hopeless at replying to emails I seem to be getting so many these days lol and a lot of them sit there for ages. Our internet was off for a few hours yesterday so I spent the time sorting out hubbys email account, putting everything into folders and lots of deleting:D

I try to answer them as quickly as I can but sometimes I have to admit it does all get on top of me.

I always attend to my straight away too otherwise there would be one big mess.
I've just gone through and unsubscribed from things though. Found I wasn't using them. I wonder if it's just a stage you go through signing up to things.

definitely - something catches your interest and you sign up, but then you get too much in your mailbox and couldn't be bothered reading it all LOL

I am really terrible with emails  I am so disorganised.
I have 4 different email addresses coming into my mail program. They get sorted into folders, that's about as far as the organisation goes.
I get so many emails every day, for all sorts of different things. I read them and think I will come back to that one later, next thing you know a week has gone by and I still haven't gotten back to it.

I really need to get more organised, people must think I am rude..but I don't mean to be

I'm an EMCer too.
Really like it in here though. I spend more time in here than in the EMC Forum now.

I find that a lot of people dont read my business emails. One person won a prize from me and didnt even bother to claim it - after three emails I gave up. I figured it was her loss.
