Aaargh! Just occurred to me I'm going to have another baby in 7 or 8 weeks... I'm not ready! I'm loving my sleep too much and I'm already exhausted for no real reason! Aaaargh! :headh:

but on the other hand ... holding a tiny, snuggly newborn ... that scent they have ... those little snuffly sounds ... first smile ...
:) enjoy
i agree Naomi all that far outweighs sleeplessness in my book

So if you are never organised then little one gets a baptism by fire in your house.....good idea, get them used to it early.

With #1, we had the car-seat in the car from about 30 weeks, hospital bag packed by 35 weeks ... by the time he FINALLY arrived at 42 weeks we were so prepared LMAO so then with #2, at 40 weeks I kind of had half a thought that we should put the car-seat in and sort out the bassinet and wash the baby clothes - and when she arrived (quickly!) the next day DH had to go back home after she was born to get the car-seat (we left the hospital same day), and when we got home at 11pm we had to set up the bassinet and find sheets so she had somewhere to sleep. I never did get around to packing a hospital bag either :hehe:
Oh, I love this thread, reminds me of that exciting time waiting for a new baby. I am a bit envious!! (no, not clucky! ... well, not *very*).

Oh Kez, you are so lucky :) I am starting to get clucky again!
I was 2 days overdue and only packed my bag once my water broke and still had to get my mum to bring some things to the hospital for us, I was quite content with where the baby was! :hehe:

I should be organised for the hospital - it'a a c-section so I'll have the due date a couple of weeks beforehand. It's the house that is in disarray. The baby's room is the one I'm sitting in now with all the office stuff - soit has to move downstairs, etc. I felt motivated last night and moved one of the bookcases, but there's still heaps to do :) But, I always work best under pressure so I know it will happen in time!
