Hello ladies,
Does anyone have recipes for Salmon Pattys? I have one in a cookbook but it's not the type I am looking for.
Thanks

All I do when I make salmon patties is boil some potatoes and mash them with butter and milk, add the tin of drained salmon and an egg and mix well. Then roll into balls, dip in flour, egg and then breadcrumbs and then fry.

Thats all we do here too Jewly although you could add some finely chopped onion, chives, parsely and add a little garlic if you fancy :)

:) That's what I was after Thank you, but I'm going to add onion and garlic like Patricia suggested. I've never made them before so I hope they work.

Haven't done them yet Patricia. They are on the menu for tomorrow night. I didnt expect to get responses so quick. And I knew I had no chance of getting near the computer before dinner.
But I will let you know.

We had the salmon patties tonight and they were a big hit. We had them with sweet potato chips. I printed the recipe off the Internet Jewly found, but ended up just making them like Jewly does. I put onion in with my potato when I boiled them to mash, it's yummy.
Thanks ladies.
