Come on Back To School....:hehe:
It's getting to the end of the school holidays here in Australia & the kids are starting to get sick of each other.....
Hubby had to work this weekend so his next day off if on Wednesday (if raining) or Thursday so i'm tearing my hair out here, they only have to look at each other & it's on..... I think i might send my eldest out for a bike ride to separate them for a bit...
You know when school starts back i'll start counting down to the Easter Holidays within a couple of weeks...
i do love them home but i think they just get so sick of seeing each other for so long....
sorry i'm just complaining again:hehe:

My kids are the same - and I think most of it's the rain. I'll have to get a couple of friends over... or better yet, send them to their friend's! :D

I wish it could be school holidays indefinitely....my last run of night duties was a dream ride home in the non-existent traffic. :hehe: Makes you think there are a LOT of people on that motorway during the year who are either doing the school run or take time off during the summer break to be with their kids
My next run of nights is after school goes back....the traffic is going to be a nightmare :argh:

Have been thinking the same thing:yes: Poor ED her whole holidays has been driving up and down coast and now when thats all sorted she has been throwing up since early this morning. Hubby is back on nights tomorrow and figured I would try organise a couple of day trips(so she has some sort of hols) and pack at night, but the way the weather has been, wellllll:brow::yes: Worst part she goes to her old school for 3 days and then to her new school.(at least she can say goodbye to them all:yes:)

Yes paticia, I was only saying the same thing. This time last year, my eldest DD was going into high school, and we were stressing about that, and now, she is in Year 8 all ready!! My DS is in Year 6 this year, so I suppose this year will speed along as well!!!

Sending the first one to school is such a big thing :) My biggest concern this year is my daughter's teacher - but I'll hold my breath and hope for the best. I'm sure I'll be whinging to you girls a lot of she gets the one I don't want! :) As for teh hols, it looks like we finally have a day of sunshine! Will have to make the most of it before the rain comes back :D

Not long to go Mel :) My boys have been pretty good (well, normal I suppose - they are always fighting so I'm used to it). We've had a few of their friends over most days or they have been out riding and getting filthy (Tyler came home yesterday covered in mud and was soaking wet - have no idea what they were doing  ). Probably the thing I am looking forward to more than anything is less washing and knowing they will get home clean LMAO

Unfortunately it's going to be a nightmare at our school this year. We share space with the private school next door so we have a school with 1200 students plus a school with 800 students next door and the huge empty space across the way that everyone was using for parking is now being developed (for a multi story car park), so all those people have to find alternate parking, and you know how everyone likes to kiss there kids off on the first day. The place is gonna be a mess and I can just imagine people turning up an hour before school just to get a park.
On a good note I walk to school so it wont bother me except for listening to all the drivers beeping and yelling at each other in frustration.
