New Adsense format?

Looks like google is testing out some new ad formats (I don't recall reading or seeing them before)

Below the ads appears 2 little arrows, on clicking them the ads a new set of ads is displayed.

Not sure if visitors would actually take the time to scroll through to see even more ads?

I certainly wouldn't - but I was aghast at the right hand ad - would you WANT that on your site? (well, unless you were promoting such an option, I suppose).

The only man I know of who reads my blog is MINE so I wouldn't want any clicks there!

Ha ha - just noticed the left hand one (why did the rh one stick out to me so much!) - I am hoping that I already have his devotion, don't want to become an addiction!

The problem with Adsense is that you really can't control the ads that you get. You can choose the category, but even then you can get many ads that may grate with what you find personally acceptable or the type of message you want to send out to your visitors.

I just noticed the image ads on my blog today. I thought someone had hacked into my website at first lol. I was lucky though I got an ad for an australian health fund - I would have freaked out if I got an ad like the one you displayed Leigh.

You can modify Google ads and actually choose which ads appear on your site. But it is a rather time consuming process. I find not many of site visitors click on google ads anyway, so I'm not sure how much longer I will keep them on my site.
